Richard Anderson Memorial Fund

On December 30, 2021 it was discovered that Richard Anderson had passed away in his sleep. Richard is survived by his wife Meg, and his four children. He was an incredible husband and father, and friend to so many.

Many of Richard's friends know him from his longtime selfless role in politics helping on many important races and causes over the years. Regardless what side you were on, you always knew Richard to treat you with respect, professionalism, and kind words. He was a quiet warrior, and will be sorely missed.

We do not have any more information on the cause of Richard's death at this time, but will try to provide information as we learn more. This is certainly unexpected and devastating for his family. They need and deserve our support in this most difficult time. We ask that you respect their privacy and support them by making a donation and leaving them a note.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 for Richard's family. A wonderful patron and close friend has agreed to match donations to this GoFundMe page up to $30,000 to give his family the financial support they need to get through these difficult times.

Richard was also a massive UofM fan and we are sad he will not be able to see the big game tomorrow. He will be watching from above and giving the boys in Blue some heavenly help.
