Caring for Chris

Chris Tunison (Saguaro HS 1979) was a member of Saguaro's 1978 state-champion mile relay team, and of the 1977 team which still holds the school record. Today, Chris is fighting for his life as he begins chemotherapy for colon cancer. With no insurance, the procedure will of course be a huge drain on his and his family's resources. Chris loves track & field and tequila, and we'd like to make sure he gets to enjoy both again. Your donations are appreciated.
UPDATE: The first round of chemotherapy produced negative results, and the doctor was of the opinion that further treatment offered little hope. Chris has been home since Wednesday (thus the change to Caring for Chris), resting, surrounded by loving family and friends. He still has the best smile in the room.
