ACTIVE AFTER ADVERSITY

The goal of ACTIVE AFTER ADVERSITY is to provide dogs in shelters and rescues the second chance they deserve by providing them with the opportunity of becoming a service dog for an individual in need. ACTIVE AFTER ADVERSITY takes in shelter dogs and trains them to perform various service dog tasks, such as interruption tasks and item / medication retrievals, and matches them with their perfect person for FREE!!

We believe that everyone deserves comfort, confidence, and support within their own body and mind just as much as we believe every dog has their purpose. The service dog industry, while providing incredible support to people with various disabilities and or heath concerns, does not consider the financial impact that adopting a service dog can bring on a family, as some service dogs cost up to $50,000. Here at ACTIVE AFTER ADVERSITY, we want to end that costly trend and provide individuals with the support they need, without breaking the bank.

100% of donations go towards the dog in training's food, essentials, vet care, training and overall wellness!
