Action1D Campaign: Books

Hey guys! This is a project created by One Direction fans in order to support their new book project, along with other celebrities, with BBC's Children in Need Charity (information on that charity here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/corporate2/childreninneed ).

The book is a children's book entitled, "The Curious Tale of Fi-Rex." the book is "An incredible tale written as a game of consequences where each section has been written by different celebrity authors. As a result this fantastic story is hilarious, unique and thrilling all at the same time - and the celebrity guest authors show their true brilliant colours within each of their sections. The story is an incredible journey with Fi-Rex - half-girl, half-dinosaur - who meets characters and creatures of every type on her quest to find the right way home. This book is for everyone - children and adults alike." 

Many fans love to support One Direction's endeavors, but many of us happen to be too old for a children's book. So in order to support this book and help out, I thought it would be a great idea if we could donate the books to different Children's Hospitals around the world.

If you know of a hospital that you would like to donate books to, please contact them and see if they would accept the donations. I know with many of these projects, people are worried about their money being used correctly. Because of this, there are a couple things that we can do:
1. I'm willing to be completely transparent about who I am and where the money is going.
2. all of the money (minus the fees taken by GoFundMe) will be used to purchase the book and sent to hospitals around the world
3. We hope to have people in the areas of the hospitals go and donate them in person and post about it on the action1Dbooks tumblr

If you're still worried about your money being used incorrectly, PLEASE feel free to purchase books on your own and donate them yourself! This isn't a one person, one fundraiser project and the more people who are involved, the better!

Also, don't think you have to donate the full price of a book! The reason for this money collection is so that people who cannot afford the full price of a book can donate just a few bucks if they have it!

PS. There is no real goal for this fundraiser. The 20,000 is a number I have no intention of reaching so that this will stay open!
