Acting career development

My name is carey oakes, you might remember me from the 10th episode of MAID on netflix.

I have struggled most my life with poverty and addiction, having spent the last 4 years rebuilding my life (Now and support outreach and overdose prevention worker) I really want to pursue my acting.

I am an apprentice UBCP/ACTRA member, I have a talent agent and I just can't seem to get into it as much as I try.

Unfortunately no one tells you just how many financial barriers come with all the hard work.

Please consider being part of my career development:

• Acting headshots (updated because I am growing my hair out)
• Demo reel (expensive if you are starting out)/2500-5000$

• Subscriptions to casting networks (a site used by the industry to find actors for film and tv)/300$

• Money to be set aside for travel to get to auditions, gigs and other fees and requirements that arise.
