WHO WE ARE

We are Moonstone Theatre Company, a Manchester-based theatre company that not only entertain but also provoke thought and inspire change. Our latest production, "Enough.", has captivated audiences and critics alike, earning the Best Drama award at the Greater Manchester Fringe 2023 and numerous 5-star reviews.

OUR MISSION

"Enough." is more than just a play—it's a movement. Set within a typical city police force unit, this powerful drama explores the insidious nature of misogyny in the police force and broader society. Through the eyes of Irie Dayton, a new female officer, audiences experience the day-to-day challenges shaped by gender biases, revealing the profound impact on mental health and professional integrity.

After our successful run at the Manchester Fringe and the profound impact "Enough." has had on audiences, we are eager to bring this important narrative to more cities across the UK. Our goal is to extend the reach of this powerful play, fostering a broader dialogue about misogyny in the workplace and society. By touring additional cities, starting with the Camden Fringe in August, we aim to inspire and educate a wider audience, using the power of theatre to challenge perceptions and encourage positive change. Your support will help us cover the logistical and production costs involved in taking "Enough." on the road, ensuring that the message of empowerment and equality reaches as many people as possible.

As a non-profit organisation, we depend on the generosity of supporters like you to make this possible. Your donations will directly fund production costs, as well as travel and accommodation for our cast and crew. As well as marketing, tech support, venue hire and insurance, the staggering costs behind our production are often forgotten and with the current state of arts funding, we can’t raise that money alone.
