My name is Antoine Tang and three years ago I set out on a mission to make the best chocolate chip cookie.
After many trials, failures, successes, and more failures I created recipes for nine delicious cookies. I also gained a great understanding of the science of baking that could only be bought with thousands of hours of practice.
The first year of baking was for me. I was trying to bake cookies for me, the way I wanted cookies to taste. The last two years I turned my baking into a business and started delivering cookies in the San Francisco Bay Area. The feedback I got was very encouraging and I continued my journey with the support of my wonderful customers. To date I have baked over 80,000 cookies. Now I am getting so busy that I need to open a retail shop to handle all my orders.
How Much?
I am raising $20,000 by February 2016 to buy equipment for my new shop. I need a new oven, a mixer, and baking supplies.
Giving Back
Antoine's Cookie Shop has always been open to giving back our community in the form of cookies! We have donated cookies for non profit auctions, dinners, and meetings.
When we set up shop in San Mateo we will share our cookies with that community as well. For every dollar donated we will give 50 cents of cookies credit to these local non profit organizations:
CALL Primrose
CALL Primrose Center is a non-profit agency serving those in need throughout the mid-peninsula. They provide food assistance to qualified low-income individuals and families.
Community Gatepath
Serving children with special needs and adults and seniors with disabilities for over 85 years. Services include early intervention, inclusive preschool, adult day services, vocational training and community employment.
CORA (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse)
CORA is the only agency in San Mateo County with the sole purpose of serving victims/survivors of domestic violence/abuse.
Friends for Youth Mentoring Services Program
Friends for Youth matches youth-in-need with caring, adult volunteers for a one-to-one mentoring Friendship. Volunteers are provided with training and ongoing support.
Youth and Family Assistance
Provides a comprehensive network of programs that serve the needs of youth and families in high risk situations. Services are provided throughout the Peninsula in the following four main areas: homeless and runaway youth, violence and abuse prevention, substance abuse treatment and education; and general youth and family support.
InnVision Shelter Network: First Step for Families
Interim shelter and services for 39 families.

Shelter Network is committed to providing housing and support services that create opportunities for homeless families and individuals to re-establish self-sufficiency and to return to permanent homes of their own.

To provide a safe haven for homeless families while helping them to regain long term self sufficiency.
