Hello everyone,
My name is Glory, I am a family friend to Christabel and Ray Nwaneri. I started this GoFundMe campaign to help Ray, Christabel’s husband to keep paying for the cost of Billboard Advertisement associated with a request for a spare kidney donation from a living donor and to also help offset other printing and logistic cost associated with this advertisement publicity, some co pay not covered by Christabel’s insurance and help provide maybe travel, hotel stay and any medical miscellaneous expenses for a living donor who travel to New Jersey where her transplant center is located.
Christabel and Ray appreciate all the support and love from everyone at these challenging times as you consider donating generously and sharing to your contacts . Its all a team effort.

HER STORY:
I am a 33 years old mother with young children between the ages of 2-12years old. The thoughts of my life being cut short due to this disease and my young children growing up without the affection and care of their mother breaks my heart daily. With a troubled heart, I wish to inform you all about my KIDNEY DISEASE. This health challenge started during the pregnancy of my last child in 2021. I battled with a high-risk pregnancy, severe preeclampsia to the extent my blood pressure became uncontrollable even after the administration of recommended doses of blood pressure medications that is safe for pregnancy. I reached stroke level; hence, the team of high-risk doctors took the decision of delivering the baby prematurely at 29 weeks gestation to save my life and that of my baby.
I have had several hospitalizations thereafter and underwent series of treatments over the period, which severely affected my two kidneys, and both eventually got scarred and are unable to function properly anymore. At this time, after a comprehensive consultation with my nephrologist, the only better solution to keep me alive for my children, my family and the society at large is a KIDNEY TRANSPLANT.
My transplantation Care Team at Virtua Center for Organ Transplantation has listed my name in the National Kidney Poll for a deceased kidney. The average waiting time is 5 -7 years, but I was strongly advised to search for a spare kidney from a living donor which will last longer and has better function. This has been a very difficult request for me to make, but this is the only hope I have to get another chance to life so I can raise my kids. If you or someone you know considers to donate a spare kidney to me, please contact Jennie Roggio my living donor coordinator at Virtua Center for Organ Transplantation, her number is 1-856-796-9376. Please remember to mention my name Christabel Nwaneri.
Thank you for taking your time to read my story. Please help me share with everyone you know to help create awareness of kidney disease and living donation.
