Hi there!
We are a young adventurous couple ready to go on an expedition we have been dreaming about for more than 5 years.
21st of May 2019, we will set out on an expedition to hike/paddle across Alaska. During 68 days, we will be paddling and hiking from sunrise to sunset, aiming to cross Alaska from Kaktovik in northeast to Unalakleet in southwest. The route is about 1100 miles (1800 kilometres) and takes us through soaked tundra, mountains, forests and huge rivers in untouched wild nature. We will be out there alone among wildlife, like 135 000 bears.
We would like to film and capture the expedition to create content to share with all of you. Therefore, we are are trying to raise funds for semi-professional video equipment (camera, microphones and accessories).
The total cost of the expedition is very expensive, so we could really need your help to get the camera gear needed to make a documentary of this adventure.
Any help is much appreciated. To give something back, we are offering givebacks to those who donate:
1) Donations above 135 NOK ($15 USD) will get you regular "live" updates on e-mail during the expedition. Using our satellite phone, we are able to send e-mails to a mail distribution list. You will receive updates with 3-5 days intervals.
2) Donations above 225 NOK ($25 USD) will also give you our 5 best high resolution pictures from the expedition.
3) Donations above 450 NOK ($50 USD) will give you another 20 high resolution pictures.
4) Donations above 900 NOK ($100 USD) will also give you a short video with the highlights from the expedition.
5) Donations above 2 250 NOK ($250 USD) will also give you the full video with english subtitles (for personal use).
6) Donations above 4 500 NOK ($500 USD) will also give you or your business credits for sponsoring us on our blog . You will be mentioned in a "thanks to" post and get 6 months of logo exposure on our blog.
7) Donations above 18 000 NOK ($2,000 USD) will also give you an onsite presentation/talk of the expedition (Limited to locations in Norway).
