Hi!

My name is Mackenzie, and as some of you may know, I was recently kicked out of my family home. I was able to find housing temporarily with a partner and friend, however, am now having to find somewhere else to live this winter.

Since being kicked out, I’ve had to take on significant and unplanned costs.

I’ve had to spend thousands on housing. This has been much more than anticipated, which has put added pressure on my ability to afford upcoming education costs for my final semester in teacher's college and my masters.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help offset some of these unexpected expenses of living so I can continue focusing on school and afford increased housing costs larger than what I make instead of using my education savings to better my future. , I’ve always worked since even before I was 16, and have put myself through everything growing up (braces, my first degree, my first car, etc.).
