Acorn Needs a Home

Acorn Learning Center is a non-profit school, serving children and families from preschool to 5th grade, that has been opperating in Twin Falls, Idaho since 1982. It is an outstanding school that promotes the growth of each students' unique strengths by encouraging individual creativity and celebrating diversity as part of academic growth. Unfortunately, the building that has housed Acorn for over 30 years has been sold and now the school needs to relocate. There are other buildings available but funding is needed to incorporate appropriate safety features and to accommodate changes to make the building functional. Acorn is in need of an EVAC system as well as other updates to make the facility ADA compliable. Being a non-profit school, Acorn's budget is extremely limited and the means to provide for these features is lacking. Time is short, and the staff and families are motivated and doing all they can to get Acorn a new home. Please consider supporting our cause to keep this one of a kind school running. So many children and families would be affected greatly by its loss and the community would lose a dynamic academic establishment for all. Anything you can offer is greatly appreciated.
