Hi, my name is Bill Hedrick and I started this Go Fund Me to help a friend and fellow Scouter, Kim Acomb and her family. Kim has recently been diagnosed with kidney cancer. Unfortunately, Kim does not have medical insurance and we all know that her medical bills are going to be tremendous. Kim's treatment and her road to recovery is going to be long, hard and expensive. This is a journey she shouldn't have to take alone or worry about how she will pay for it.

I wanted to start this fundraiser to help ease the family's financial burden, so they can focus on Kim's health and healing.

The Acomb Family is very involved in Scouting and they would be the first ones in line to help others in need. Kim and her husband Jeff (one of GTC's Camp Rangers) have 2 sons. Anthony is 14 and is a First Class Scout in Boy Scouts. Brennen is 8 and he is working on his Bear rank in Cub Scouts.

The Acomb Family is a great family, so please consider making a donation to help lessen their financial burden during this unexpected, difficult time.
