Hi there!

We recently noticed that our best boy Tars was having some pain in his back legs when standing up or walking. He went in for an X-ray this past Thursday and it showed a double ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) tear in both of his knees. One of them being more severe than the other.

The vet recommended surgery for Tars so that he can live comfortably without relying only on pain medication that would affect his kidney function. Our buddy is such a goofy, loving, and energetic boy, we would love to get him back to his happy self and out of pain.

The estimate Danny (Tars’ dad) received for one of the surgeries was $7,000, and Tars would need this operation in both knees. With take home meds this would cost $14,000 which will unfortunately be paid out of pocket.

Any little bit you can spare to help the Ramirez family get their boy healthy again would be so greatly appreciated! We all love Tars and want to get him back to his sweet and playful self as soon as we can!
