Apollo’s ACL surgery
This is Ethan, my (baby) brother. We are a rare breed of human who will do ANYTHING to provide a top quality life for our animals. Ethan has a special way with dogs & his career goal is to become a dog trainer.
This is Apollo, Ethan’s three year old German Shepard. He enjoys chasing & eating sticks, belly rubs, snuggles & is super vocal when he desires affection. Ethan chose Apollo because he is extremely smart & obedient while being extra lovable and will be Ethan’s right hand man, leading other dogs by example once Ethan is a dog trainer.
Two weeks ago Apollo tore his ACL. Ethan has scheduled Apollo’s surgery for August 31st. He has explored several surgeries & payment plans & unfortunately the most costly surgery is recommend for Apollo’s size, level of energy & age. The recovery process is a bit quicker but will require some rather expensive medications & specialty gear to ensure Apollo will not injure himself during healing.
As with so many of us 2020 has taken a toll on my ability to work & depleted my savings & I’m not able to do the thing my big sister heart desires which is pitch in a big chunk of money to assist him. But I am able to reach out to my very dog friendly network of friends & family & professional contacts to ask for your assistance. Whether you’re able to pitch in monetarily or even a share with your dog friendly network, I would be grateful. And I know Ethan would be super grateful to not have to take on another job while he needs to be at home being attentive to his recovering dog, which he is fully willing to do should this GoFundMe not prove successful. Thank you in advance!
PS. Give your dog(s) a pet & a pat for me please!!! And hugs & high fives to you humans.
