Hi everyone,

I'm Mason Barrett, a semi-professional footballer facing a second whole year out of the game I love due to injury.

I'm asking whether you'd like to consider support with raising funds to help my family and I cover the cost of an ACL reconstruction & Meniscal repair which I'm soon due to have.

My club, Wealdstone, supported me fantastically well during my first ACL injury, operation and rehab. The PFA supported me too, and I can't ask anything more from either of them.

The club have always looked after me so I'm not expecting them to have to do so again. But there's no way I want to give up on my career. My love for being on the pitch is too strong and I want to come back even stronger than before.

I have been here before so I know what it takes and I’m even more determined than ever.
