What’s good, I’m Okeito — and I’m starting a food truck called Ackee & Mash, bringing Jamaican and British fine dining classics straight to the streets. This ain’t your usual jerk and chips setup. I’m talking proper presentation, rich flavours, and that soulful touch that makes your belly smile before you even take a bite.
Why I'm Doing This
Food’s been part of my life from early. My family knew how to cook meals that looked and tasted like luxury, even when we didn’t have much. It wasn’t just about filling the plate — it was about making sure our tummies felt good and our hearts felt full. That kind of care in food stayed with me.
Now, I want to put that same energy into a food truck that reps both my roots and my reality. Clean British elements with bold Jamaican soul. Call it fine dining, but real, affordable, and out here where the people are.

Why I Need Help
To get this rolling, I’m aiming to raise £8,000. That’ll help cover:
