Achieve a dream that seems impossible

Hello, my name is Genesis and I am a 10th grade student at a school in Washington DC. I am a very good student who aspires to be successful and have a name that is recognized worldwide. 2 weeks ago I received a proposal that is the product of my great academic effort. I was selected to attend the National Student Leadership Conference, this is a forum attended by only the best students from all over the country and they meet in very good universities to exchange knowledge and experiences; I was selected in the engineering area and this opportunity would give me the opportunity to meet with engineering and technology professionals and notable among them are NASA, Boeing and Microsoft. This is a great opportunity for me since it could help me boost my career as an engineer and create connections with professionals, apart from the exchange and the courses that will be given to us. The program will be held in the month of June. But upon receiving this news so suddenly, it has taken my parents and I by surprise and we are not able to raise the 4,500 dollars that are necessary to attend and even less so with so little time. It is for this reason that I am reaching out to you today through this means to ask for your help, I need your collaboration to be able to obtain all the money I need and thus be able to obtain this great opportunity that, as I already said, will be of great help for my future since for me it would mean a beginning in a professional way in what engineering is. The only thing I ask for is your collaboration, please help me make this dream come true, put yourself in my place, or if you are a parent, stop and think for a moment what you would do if you knew that your child has a great opportunity but it is not possible for them to take it because your economic situation does not allow it. I know that you could probably see it as something not important, but remember that what is normal for an adult, for a girl could be a great ray of light that would help her fully define her future and thus create a better life and conditions for her. little by little we can have a better world. Hola, mi nombre es Genesis y soy una estudiante del grado 10 en una escuela de Washington DC. Soy una muy buen estudiante que aspira a ser exitosa y con un nombre que sea reconocido a nivel mundial. Hace 2 semanas recibi una propuesta que es producto de mi gran esfuerzo académico. Fui seleccionada para asistir a la National Student Leadership Conference, este es un foro al que asisten solo los mejores estudiantes de todo el país y se reúnen en muy buenas universidades para intercambiar conocimiento y experiencias; yo fui seleccionada en el area de ingeniería y esta oportunidad me daría la posibilidad de reunirme con profesionales de la ingeniería y tecnología y destacando entre ellos están la NASA, Boeing y Microsoft. Esta es una gran oportunidad para mi ya que podría ayudarme a impulsar mi carrera como ingeniera y crear conexiones con profesionales, aparte de el intercambio y los cursos que nos seran dados. El programa sera realizado en el mes de Junio. Pero al recibir esta noticia tan repentinamente, nos ha tomado por sorpresa a mis padres y a mi y no somos capaces de reunir los 4500 dólares que son necesarios para asistir y menos con tan poco tiempo. Es por esa razón por la cual estoy el dia de hoy llegando a ti por este medio para pedir de tu ayuda, necesito de tu colaboración para poder obtener todo el dinero que necesito y así poder obtener esta gran oportunidad que como ya lo dije, sera de gran ayuda para mi futuro ya que para mi significaría un comienzo de una manera profesional en lo que es la ingeniería. Lo único que pido es tu colaboración, por favor, ayúdame a cumplir este sueno, ponte en mi lugar, o si eres padre, detente a pensar por un momento lo que harías al saber que tu hijo tiene una gran oportunidad pero no es posible que la tome debido a que su situación económica no se lo permite. Se que probablemente lo podrías ver como algo no importante, pero recuerda que lo que para un adulto es normal, para una niña podría ser un gran rayo de luz que la ayudara a definir totalmente su futuro y así crear una mejor vida y condiciones para que poco a poco podamos tener un mundo mejor. Cuento con tu ayuda y recuerda que toda buena acción es recompensada al doble, aunque sea dólar por dollar se que entre todos lograremos esa meta maravillosa, Gracias a todos.
