Kappa Alpha Psi 2016 Homecoming
Donation protected
Brothers,
As the summer winds down and fall rapidly approaches, the anticipation and excitement continues to build for this specific time of the year. Fall is a great time to be a Hoosier, and a special time specifically for Brothers who have graduated from Indiana University. With so many things changing constantly on the Bloomington campus, there is one thing that hasn't changed, and that is the special weekend of IU's Homecoming!
Over 100 years ago, the men who founded this amazing fraternity walked on the same soil that we do today. As time has passed, the number of active Brothers and overall involvement has changed, connections have been forgotten, and communication has been altered. However, here now in 2016, the Alpha Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated is stronger than ever, and continues to thrive on Bloomington's campus with the same motives that are instilled in the Fraternity's 5 objectives.
Now is time of celebration and good cheer! Now is the time to redefine foggy communication and relationships to rebuild and uphold the Bond. Now is the time to close the gap of Undergraduates and Alumni Brothers to create new connections and enjoy each others' company. Now is the time to give gratitude and praise to the 10 Founders who boldly and graciously created this Fraternity on this same campus. Now is the time to reap some of the many benefits that Kappa offers, through fellowship, comradery, and celebration!
With all this being said, there is much work to be done in a short time frame! The proposed $3,500 will be needed and allocated amongst entertainment, food, tents, drinks, supplies, liabilities, and other items that will be required to enforce this year's homecoming the right way. (A complete budget can be shared upon request). In order to provide all Brothers expected to be in attendance with proper provision, adequate food and refreshments, and an overall enjoyable experience, we now open the invitation for Brothers (and others) to please help aid in the efforts of making this annual special event possible through donations. If each Brother would give at least $25, there will be enough funds to successfully sustain everyone in attendance. The more hands on deck to lift, the lighter the load will be, and the benefits will be priceless to all. As October 15th rapidly approaches, please help aid the Brothers in making the 2016 Homecoming the biggest turn out so far, and the best one yet!
