Hi everyone,
One of Niall’s coaches Ciaran has organised a relay team for this year’s Belfast Marathon to help raise money for Niall’s treatment in America, Niall has a condition called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, its a muscle wasting disease that has no cure, he travels to America every 3-4 months at a cost of approx $12000-$15000 for treatment to help give him the best quality of life.
He has been to America 7 times now and all being well his next treatment is in June.
The marathon is on 30th April 2023 and we have 5 ACFC coaches in the team:
Ciaran, Mick, Darren, Dee and Me :)
We also have head coach Johnny taking on the full marathon!
Not only will we raise some funds for Niall but it will be a great achievement for us too, pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones.
Every penny counts and we will be grateful for every £1, we know times are tough for people at the minute so if you cannot donate please if you can share, thanks in advance and wish us luck :)
