Aces Wheelchair and medical fund

Hi everyone, thank you for setting time aside to read about our boy.

My name is Destiny. I’ve had ace since I was 10 and for the past 15 years he’s been right along my side. For as long as I can remember. I grew up an only child so Ace was like the sibling I never had. He would go on my adventures with me, and protect me at all costs. He was a crazy ball of energy.

But Ace’s days of being young, wild and free have caught up to him.

Last year his health really took a turn for the worst and caught us all by surprise.

He started having muscle problems as well as joint pain in his back legs and progressively lost movement in them. In our best efforts to accommodate him we bought the wheelchair you seen in the tiktoks, which is a very poorly made piece of metal and plastic. In the 6 months he’s been using it it’s almost completely broken down. I’ve had to use tape, shoe strings, rope and so much more to keep it going… it’s pathetic how badly it works.

It is to the point now where he hates getting in it. He’d much rather me hoist his back legs up and let him walk like that. But that is not ideal for walks or bathroom breaks.

Ace is old, he’s turning white in the face and most of his teeth are missing. But he’s not ready to give up so we aren’t giving up on him.

Our vet has told us Ace is willing to keep going, he’s still young at heart. And it truly shows, he still barks at me when he wants treats, plays with my baby, loves rolling in the grass and going on car rides.

But the cost of a new wheelchair, his vet bills, and medications, are all piling up on my husband and I. I’m a stay at home mom so I can’t contribute to the bills we are currently facing. But I don’t want that to stop me from getting my bestest boy help.

I decided to take a leap of faith and make this tiktok page in hopes that even just a couple people may be generous enough to help.
