Hello! My son, Ace, was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Henoch-Schonlein Purpura (HSP). It is also known as IgA Vasculitis. We have been in and out of the hospital since January 18th. We have now been up at Kapiolani Hospital since February 4th. Usually, this disease has mild symptoms and goes away on its own within 2-3 weeks of the first symptoms. But, Ace got all the rare/severe symptoms, which is why he was admitted to Kapiolani twice.

I have not been working since January 15th, and our bills are piling up. Not to mention, when he is finally discharged, I will need to find money for food for us.

I am reaching out to hopefully receive funding in order to not fall too far behind on my bills until I can finally get back to work. Anything is appreciated. We are still in the hospital with no definite discharge date. Thank you all in advance for your generosity in helping myself and my son through this really tough time.
