Ace's Life-Saving Emergency Surgery

Everyone who has met Ace knows what a special soul he is <3

Ace's health took a mysterious and scary turn last week, leaving him extremely weak and lethargic - almost unable to walk. Our vet ran some bloodwork and determined that his red blood cells were at a critical 7% (far below the 35-45% a dog needs to survive) and that without an immediate blood transfusion, he only had a couple days left... so I of course increased my credit limit and maxed out my Care Credit to save his life.

Ace now needs surgery to remove the cause of his blood depletion - a growth in his intestines, the one organ that can’t be biopsied externally. Without this surgery, the growth could continue to pull and trap his blood, depriving the rest of his body of what it desperately needs... but if we can remove it, Ace has every chance of making a full recovery and returning to the happy, playful boy we all know and love.

It's unlike me to ask for help, especially financially, but I have exhausted my personal resources and Buttercup & I are terrified to lose our best friend.
