Hello, we’re the Galindez family. Our son, Ace Galindez, was born prematurely at 25 weeks weighing only 2lbs. He suffered a brain injury within the first few days of life causing his quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Quadriplegic cerebral palsy is a severe neurological condition that affects all four of his limbs, muscle tone, and motor skills. On top of that, with Aces other diagnoses, he is considered medically high-risk and requires ongoing care, therapies, and special equipment just to get through each day safely and comfortably.
Ace is a true fighter. From the moment he came into the world, he has overcome challenges that many of us can’t imagine. Despite his limitations, Ace radiates joy, strength, and the kind of light that inspires everyone around him. His resilience is our motivation. He is our little miracle baby.
But as he continues to grow, so do the challenges. Ace’s wheelchair is now much larger and heavier, and it’s become incredibly difficult for us to lift and safely load it into our current vehicle. We’re facing increasing strain—and it’s clear we need a more permanent, safe solution for Ace’s mobility.
That’s why we’re starting this GoFundMe:
We are hoping to raise enough money for a down payment to purchase a wheelchair-accessible van that will:
- Allow Ace to stay secure in his wheelchair while traveling
- Eliminate the physical strain and reduce the risk of injury to him or us
- Help us get him to medical appointments, school, therapy, and enjoy outings as a family
- Support his dignity, safety, and overall quality of life
This van wouldn’t just be transportation—it would be freedom. Freedom for Ace to experience life without limitations. Freedom for us to give him what he deserves without fear or physical barriers.
We are so incredibly thankful for any help—whether that’s a donation, a share, or simply spreading the word. Your support would mean the world to our family, and most of all, to Ace.
Thank you for believing in our boy,
With love and gratitude,
Arlene, Andrew Sr., Andrew Jr., and Ace Galindez
Ways to support Ace:
- Donate – Any amount, big or small, truly helps
- Share – Help us spread the word across your network
- Send resources – If you know of grants or programs, we’d be grateful to learn about them
Together, we can give Ace the accessible, dignified life he deserves.
