Ace TPLO surgery

We’re setting up this page for our longtime friend Mike and his son. His dog Ace has a torn Cranial Cruciate Ligament (his ACL) in his left knee and requires TPLO surgery in order to fix it properly. The cost of this surgery is going to be $4900-$5600 and I know he can’t afford to cover the costs. He is considering surrendering the dog and ownership to the Toronto Humane Society as they would do the surgery but then adopt Ace to a new home. Before that, we would like to try to raise some funds through this site in hopes he can get the surgery and stay with Mike and his son. Ace is almost 8 yrs of age, they’ve had him since he was 10 weeks old and rescued him from the Etobicoke Animal Shelter. They have provided a great life for ace and will be able to continue to provide a good life but he can’t afford the surgery. Any help with a donation or sharing this page would be greatly appreciated.
