Hi, my name is Ace and I am an 11 year old rescue. My mom adopted me when I was 12 weeks old from the state of Tennessee.

I have been having complications with my liver and my GI tract for the past year but the symptoms have been manageable until recently. In the past month I have spent a lot of time at the vet, in the emergency room, as well as at an internal medicine specialist. Medication and diet change have not been helpful to improve symptoms. In the last week I have been vomiting constantly, having diarrhea, and now vomiting blood. I am not able to keep any sort of food or liquid down which is a huge concern. I am very uncomfortable and have lost 10 pounds already, I am not able to sleep through the night, I and am vomiting with no food in my system.

The internal medicine specialist is recommending an UPPER GI endoscopy procedure including biopsy of tissue to determine the cause of these symptoms. The cost estimate for the procedure is between 2,899.00-3,443.00 which is overwhelming for my mom who has already spent over 2,000 at the ER, vet, for medications etc.
