Help Ace Recover From Surgery
My beloved German Shepherd, Ace, will be 9 years old this coming January. He’s not just my first dog—he’s my best friend and emotional support companion through every high and low.
Six months ago, Ace started showing signs of pain in his back. We tried medications and strict rest, hoping he’d recover—but the symptoms returned. On Saturday night (July 12th), he took a turn for the worse. He could barely walk, couldn’t lift his tail, and was unable to fully release his bladder. He cried out in pain constantly, and I rushed him to the ER where he was admitted for testing and an MRI.
Results showed a herniated disc causing compression in his mid-to-lower spine. Surgery was the only option to significantly improve his quality of life. Without it, Ace would continue to suffer.
As a full-time graduate student, I don’t have the resources to cover the cost of his surgery. If you’ve ever loved a pet like family, you know how devastating this is.
Any contribution—no matter the amount—will go directly toward Ace’s recovery and the cost of medical bills. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this post means the world.
Thank you for being part of Ace’s journey.
