Hey everyone! My name's Ace, and I was born with a spinal deformity that makes day-to-day living extremely painful.

I have what's called Scheurmann's Kyphosis and Lumbar Lordosis, which, when combined, create an S-curve in my spine that severely strains the vertebrae and the discs in between. The surgery that I need to correct it requires the doctors to cut wedges out of my spine and then fuse the vertebrae together. While this surgery will go a long way to improve my quality of life, it will also require a lot of time to heal.

Adding to that, the job I have worked at for eight years has cut my hours so severely that I no longer qualify for job-protected leave. Not being able to work for several months is going to cause a lot of strain on an already strained bank account, and I will not be able to pay the large amount of medical bills coming my way.
