On November 12,2020, 2 year old Ace was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After months of experiencing symptoms of bone/joint pain and fevers, his mother knew it wasn't a common illness causing his symptoms.
He was admitted to Phoenix Children's Hospital and began his chemotherapy after several blood transfusions. He is looking ahead to at least a 24 month journey of treatment to kick this cancers butt! Ace was finally able to return home to his parents and two older siblings on 11/27. After a short stay at home, an infection in his hip bone was discovered which has caused another stay at the hospital, where him and his mother will stay as they determine how to best treat this new infection.
We are reaching out for support for his family. I don't think that many of us know all the challenges that arise when your child is diagnosed with cancer. Between doctor's appointments and hospital stays, they have gone from being together to being separated and adopting a new way of life. All donations will be used to cover bills and help them provide their family with the means to reduce financial stress during this extremely difficult time.
No donation is too small. Every penny is needed and greatly appreciated to help them on this 2 year journey to remission. Thank you in advance for your support.
