Join ACD Guatemala as we walk alongside families in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Help kids receive tutoring, mentoring, and direction for life. Assist vulnerable adults receive a doctor's care and life changing medicines for diabetes and hypertension. Aid families, communities, government agencies, and other organizations better understand their human rights and the dangers of irregular migration.
Donations will enable us to continue our ongoing work with communities and families, but also allow us to initiate adaptive solutions to the challenges of providing education and medical care in this time of pandemic. Support will enable us to expand our medical services by expanding our doctor's hours and number of patients seen, purchase more medicines, and enable us to have more flexibility in care by doing more mobile care. We will also be able to expand our teaching staff and be able to provide more extensive tutoring for children in 2021 after they have missed nearly a year of school due to COVID restrictions. By reaching our goal by the end of November, we will be able to have everything ready to start strong in 2021.
After 3 years coming to ACD a few times a year and serving as a full-time volunteer this past year, it will be a joy for me to see smiles of our kids multiplied, see our patients grow stronger, and know the community becomes stronger each day. I am grateful for every donation, no matter the size, that will help us in this work as we do miracles together.
