acciesonthemove for cancer

We all know those who have been affected by cancer. Whether that is a loved one, a friend or someone in our various communities. Unfortunately our good freind Carl has recently had to endure this as his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Carls mum, Anna has been a rock for us; constantly being there for a chat, providing a smiling face in all situations and whipping up the best Swedish treats, all round she has been amazing for us. This resulted in a long conversation over the matter and partnered with a few pints a plan was hatched....

This summer we aim to embark on a couple of challenges. First up, a relay marathon in fancy dress in Edinburgh, something light and fun to get the juices flowing. After doing this we aim to do a half Marathon, ideally in Edinburgh but wherever we can manage to get a spot! ( if you have any Marathon or half marathon spots in Edinburgh or know somebody/ an organisation that does please reach out to [email redacted])
