Behind every traffic headline is a life altered in a split second—and a family suddenly thrust into an unimaginable nightmare.
When a catastrophic crash occurs on our roads, the police clear the wreckage, the traffic lanes reopen, and the rest of the world moves on. But for the victims and their families, the physical and financial wreckage remains. They are left scrambling to cover unexpected emergency surgeries, life-saving rehabilitation, and missed paychecks while navigating a terrifying crisis.
The Tulsa Accident Victim’s Hope Fund was created so no local family has to fight that battle alone.
Current Spotlight: Meeting William’s Urgent Need
To understand why this fund exists, look at William Wilkerson III.
On September 7th, William put on his helmet and set off on his motorcycle, expecting a normal day. Minutes later, a driver ran a red light, slamming into him at full speed.
William survived, but he was left fighting in intensive care with a broken back, fractured neck, broken ribs, punctured lung, fractured knee and shin, and severe trauma.
While William focuses 100% of his energy on learning to walk again, his family is overwhelmed by mounting medical bills and lost wages. Through this Hope Fund, we are stepping in to cover William's immediate physical therapy, medical supplies, and daily living support—just as we do for other families hit by sudden road tragedies in our community.
How Your Contribution Helps
Every dollar donated goes directly into a rapid-response relief pool for local crash victims and their families during their darkest hours:
$25 covers an emergency medical and daily essentials kit for a hospitalized victim.
$50 helps fund specialized physical therapy and mobility equipment for recovery.
$100 provides immediate financial relief for a family facing lost wages at their loved one's bedside.
❤️ No Family Left Behind
No family should have to choose between keeping a roof over their head and staying at the bedside of an injured loved one.
When you give to the Accident Victim’s Hope Fund, you aren't just donating money—you are giving a recovering victim the breathing room to heal, stand back up, and rebuild their life.
If you are unable to donate today, sharing this page with your friends, family, and community groups brings us one step closer to helping the next family in crisis.
Thank you for standing with Tulsa’s recovering families when they need it most.
