Accidental Bar's Intentional Outdoor Dining
Donation protected
Look to your left, Look to your Right,
Cause you Might just Meet your New Best Friend Tonight,
Let’s get a little bit weird!
I have been giving this speech to beautiful diners for the past four years, but I’ve been making new friends serving Sake every week for twelve!
8 weeks ago, two of those dear friends offered me the opportunity to make my Dream a reality. Nora O’Malley and Phoebe Connell have given their blessing to transform Lois Bar into my very own Accidental Bar!
This last year in service has shown me the resolve and resilience of New York diners. Holding up umbrellas in a rain shower, the 30-degree dinners, surprise wind or snowstorms, I’m sure there were some uneven tan lines. As we look forward to summer and work for a revitalized restaurant community, I am asking for your help to build a beautiful Intentional outdoor seating area on Avenue C. I want to build a safe, comfortable, dependable outdoor dining area. Not just for this summer, but for all of the wild and wonderful weather to come.
Accidental Bar emphasizes Sake for the season, with select wine on tap, champagne service, beer and cider. We are interested in finding a perfect beverage for you. Our goal is to help our guests define their personal taste through casual drinking and conversation. Our Otsumami plate (an assortment of drinking snacks) allows anyone to explore pairing without the pressure to be "right". Find what you like. If it tastes good to you, that sounds great to me. Drinking is supposed to be fun, if you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.
Come for the Party, Leave a Little Smarter.
I am so lucky to be back in the Neighborhood I love, with a community that has already shown so much enthusiasm and support. I can’t wait to see you, serve you, and (eventually) hug you.
As a special thank you, all donations $60 and over will receive a special edition Accidental Bar wine tote custom made in Brooklyn.
See you soon at 98 Avenue C.
