Tuesday evening (August 17th), our Martyna was involved in a horrible car accident in Tracy and was t-boned by a car doing 55 mph.

While Martyna and the other driver, thankfully, both made it out alive, Martyna has been impacted with the following:

- 4 broken ribs

- Fractured spine L4 - L7

- Fractured wrist

- Fractured hip

- Fractured femur

- Fractured sacrum

- Fractured pelvis

- Distended abdomen

As devastating as this is - Martyna is being her sassy self. :) And we wouldn’t have it any other way. And that inspired me to get into GSD mode and get this started.

Martyna has always been one of the first to help anyone she holds dear. Holding yard sales, gathering donations, sending out other gofundme/donation events. And now, the family needs our support.

Martyna does have insurance, though as many know, that doesn’t cover everything. We know it won’t cover the ambulance needed to get her to the hospital, or the one they will use once she is stable enough to move her closer to home. We’re not sure about short term disability, the other driver’s insurance, when she can return to work, etc. And in the meantime, the family could sure use our love, support, and financial help.

We set a high goal, based on ambulance estimates alone, though please know any amount helps.
