Hi everyone,
I’d like you to meet Roman.
Roman has been a fighter since the very first second of his life. Born at just 24 weeks and weighing only one pound, he spent his first months in the NICU defying every statistic.
Though he survived brain damage and now lives with Cerebral Palsy, autism, blindness, and the daily needs of a G-tube, his spirit remains unbroken.
Tragically, Roman recently lost his biggest advocate—his amazing mother. Since her passing, I have welcomed Roman into my home. Caring for him is the greatest privilege of my life, but it has also revealed a heartbreaking hurdle we can’t clear on our own.
Right now, Roman is a prisoner to a vehicle that wasn’t built for him.
Every time we have a doctor’s appointment or a therapy session, it is a physical and safety struggle. My current car simply cannot accommodate his equipment or his needs safely. Because of this, the world-class care he deserves is becoming harder and harder to reach.
We are raising funds to buy a new modified, handicap-accessible van specifically for Roman.
This van is so much more than a vehicle. It is a bridge to his future. It means:
•Safety and Dignity: No more struggling to get him in and out of a car that doesn't fit.
•Consistency: Guaranteed access to the daily therapy that helps him grow.
•Joy: The ability to finally take Roman out into the community to experience the sights and sounds of the world around him.
Roman has already beaten the odds once. Now, I’m asking for your help to give him the quality of life his mother always dreamed he’d have.
Whether you can give $5 or $500, every cent goes directly toward Roman’s mobility and safety.
If you cannot donate, please share Roman’s story. Sometimes a share is just as powerful as a gift.
Thank you for seeing Roman’s strength and for helping us on this journey.
