Hi i’m Shani, the grandmother of the most precious 8yr old boy Marley who has autism and severe leaning disabilities.

Marley attends Woodfield Special Needs School, a place filled with the most amazing children—each one full of potential, laughter, and unique ways of seeing the world. These children, including my grandson, live with severe learning disabilities and face daily challenges most of us will never fully understand.

But they also have the biggest smiles, the kindest hearts, and the strongest spirits. They bring joy and happiness to everyone around them.

Right now, the school urgently needs a £45,000 accessible minibus—a vehicle that would allow these children to go on school trips, visit therapy centres, parks, and simply enjoy being part of the wider world. For children like my grandson, who rely on specialist transport, this minibus would mean freedom, dignity, and inclusion.

Too often, children with disabilities are left behind—not because people don’t care, but because the right support just isn’t in place.

That’s why I’m fundraising.

Because I want to help open the doors that have stayed closed for too long. I want my grandson and his classmates to experience everything childhood should include—fun, discovery, and the joy of being included.
