We are the Taylor Family who live at Couran Cove Resort on South Stradbroke Island, just east of the Gold Coast in Queensland. To help us get through this, we are needing assistance with getting a spear pump to access water, a few solar panels and possibly some extra fuel to help us power our generator and help to get our son to school each day on the mainland.Due to complex corporate and legal disputes between the resort owner, who is our services provider, and our multiple body corporates, all our utilites and island basic services have been shut down, Although all our personal body corporate monies have been paid in full (and in advance), we have for the past 12 weeks, been disconnected from water, electricity and gas services and from today, now sewerage. In addition, the marina to access the resort has been closed, the parks, playgrounds, beaches, pool areas, general stores, cafes and restaurants shut down and the ferries, which had been our means of getting our son to school all cancelled.
