I never thought for a second that I would start my year off with the news of cancer. On January 4, 2016. I was diagnosed with stage lll breast cancer. I just turned 30 and like everyone I was  hoping to start my year off with new goals and a year better than last. This year wasn't the case. I took the news pretty hard and naturally began to worry. 
As I am beginning to get closer to surgery and treatment, I realize that I am not fully prepared financially. While I took a short disability leave, it provided me with a set income that doesn't cover rent and other bills. I'm trying to stay stress free and focus of getting better. Which is why I am asking for help. I set a goal. I'm keeping in mind the months I will be out of work and also medical bills that may add up. 
I appreciate everyone who can help. I am truly grateful for all my friends and family who are sticking by me and helping me through this tough time.
