Hi this is Jennifer Smeltzer my beautiful mother . She recently became a grandmother to my daughter. My mother successfully beat brain cancer back in 1996, when she was just 27 years old. She was told she only had 6 months to live. Against all odds my mom prevailed.Nearly 19 years later she faced an unexpected aneurysm. Which left her hospitalized. One year following the aneurysm came a life threating brain infection. This infection had my mother sick for over a year leading up to multiple weeks in the hospital. Most recently my mom was faced with the surgery to remove the infecton. On October 20th 2015, she under went brain surgery which included removing a bone from her skull.She is now home where she is given IV medication 3 times a day for up to the next year.My mom is a local, self employed masage therapist. However the surgey has left my mother unable to work & drive. Normal activites are no longer routine. The goal is to help raise money in support of my mom, so she can focus on her recovery without the added stress of lifes expences.All donations will be for her bennefit in a healthy recovery so she can enjoy life. This help means the world to her and she's forever greatful. My mother is precious.We love her!!
