Support Gemi (Gigi) Smith Brumley: Devastating House Fire

Donation protected
The historic home that was once known for being a Fur Trading Landmark on the Neches River, built in 1902, was burned to the ground in a house fire on November 1, 2024. Thankfully, there were no injuries but the fire was so devastating, there is nothing left to salvage. This house held within its walls so much history, so many treasured memories made by many families that were raised there, including my own.
At the time of the fire, this was home to my grandmother, Gemi (Gigi) Smith Brumley. Everything she had was inside that home. All the things she has spent a lifetime acquiring were tragically lost. Including her truck. She is literally left with nothing.
If you know Gemi, you know she is always willing to help, gives her all to anyone who needs it, goes above and beyond for others. However, she would never ask for help herself. That’s why my family and I have decided to create this GoFundMe. Our hopes are to raise enough money to help her get back on her feet, find a new place to live and attempt to replace some of things she’s lost. Help her start from scratch. Any and all donations will be given to her. Thank you for your help during this devastating time.
