Help Kayla Overcome a Rare Medical Challenge

Just a short while ago, our radiant Kayla was leading a life full of joy and energy. In an unexpected twist of fate, she woke up one day unable to feel the left side of her body. With time, the condition progressed, and she's now unable to feel anything below her arms and is paralyzed in her right leg.

Medical evaluations revealed a rare condition: a defect in the protective layer around her spine, likely present from birth but undetected until now. Her spine has started protruding through this gap, leading to her current symptoms. To give her the best fighting chance, Kayla has been moved to the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. There, we are fervently hoping to find a specialist capable of addressing this unique situation.

However, the rarity of her condition means that the path ahead is uncertain. Even with surgery, we don't yet know if her condition will improve or deteriorate further.

But true to her spirit, Kayla remains a beacon of positivity and hope. We stand by her, with unwavering faith, hoping and praying for a favorable outcome.
