Asha's South Africa Missions Trip

Hey everyone! My name is Asha Moye, in case you don't know me. Hope you're all doing well. :)
Thanks so much for looking at this page and taking the time to consider donating! With much prayer and thought I have recently decided to go on a missions trip to Capetown, South Africa this coming July 1st-11th. This will be the first missions trip I have ever experienced and I'm very excited.
Over the past few months God has truly begun to shown me how faithful He is (and always will be) and has started fueling the passions of my heart to help and speak on behalf of others. After visiting a missions conference in December and seeing/hearing about our brothers and sisters struggling in the persecuted church, I began to understand that God has purposed me to tend to the needs of others. Though I know that the need is great, I believe that I can help play even a small part in aiding those in parts of the world that may need it most.
The program that I have found through Horizon International is interested in helping the orphaned and marginalized children of Capetown who have suffered at the hands of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa. Their purpose is to help bring hope to these children and allow them to know intimately that there are people in the world who love, care, think, cry, and pray about them. People who desire (and will take action steps!) to provide for them, and offer community and family. This means so much to me because I feel that there should never be any person, let alone child, that should feel lost, unloved, or without hope. I pray that I might be able to share with even a single child the love, affection, and compassion that I have been blessed to receive in my life time.
I know that this will be the most eye-opening and thoroughly humbling experience I will have ever had in my life. I would be beyond grateful if you would help me get the chance to encounter someone this summer. All proceeds collected will go towards my transportation and program fees, the deadlines of which are coming up very soon. If you decide to make a donation, please do so as soon as you can!
