Who are we?
Abyssal Zone is a Chicago artist collective bringing devised horror theater into spaces where you least expect it. We are in the process of creating our debut production, THRALL, and we need YOUR help!
What are we doing?
This production is completely self-written, directed, and produced by an incredible group of artists committed to bringing the uncomfortable, the uncanny, and the unsettling to the Chicago theater scene. THRALL is a one-act play in which a group of friends at a writer’s retreat quickly begin to sink into madness together.
Why should you give us money?
Because we believe that artists should be paid for their work, and we need your help in order to make sure our artists get compensated for all the time and work that goes into creating your own show. Donations will also cover the cost of publicity materials, props, audio equipment, and will give us the opportunity to create more work like this in the future!
