Feed the Animals

Merciful Maiden Critter Haven is a permanent home to animals that are not wanted, destined for slaughter, or otherwise faced with an uncertain life. It's basically a retirement home for these animals.

The Haven is in critical need of food for the animals. This campaign is my attempt to help raise $12,000 for hay to feed the horses, donkeys, llamas, goats, and sheep for a whole year! That's 54 bales of hay per month for 12 months at $18 per bale, with a little left over to help cover the cost of transportation. NONE of the donated funds go to anything else - just getting hay to the animals.

Any donated funds in excess of $12,000 will help with bagged feed for the chickens, ducks, rabbits and pigs. The pigs get donated vegetables and fruit from our local grocery stores, but they need supplemental feed for needed nutrients to keep them healthy.

Note that no one at Merciful Maiden Critter Haven draws a salary, not the Board of Directors, not the manager, and not the people that help out. Everyone is a volunteer!
