Help Ivan

My brother, Ivan Kabugu, is in dire need of assistance. He is suffering from acute pancreatitis and bacterial meningitis. Doctors suspect the pancreatitis was the source of the multiple organ failure. It was left untreated for too long. He was found collapsed alone at his home. No one is sure how long he was out like that. He was admitted for 5 days in which he initially showed improvement but subsequently his condition deteriorated and was referred to ICU. He has been on a ventilator for a week. While medical parameters surrounding the lung kidneys and liver have improved, his brain is still sleeping in what doctors call brain hypoxia. Needless to say without insurance it has taken a toll on every family member's finances. The continued stay in ICU at UMC Victoria hospital in Bukoto, Uganda is costing about 500 dollars a day and the medical bills keep growing. Ivan needs financial assistance for continued medical treatment and a chance at life.
