Hello, my name is Jonette (Jo) Mashoney and this is my granddaughter Rylee. She was born in critical condition on 3/7 with a rare birth defect called CDH - Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. Basically that means that she has a hole in her diaphragm, her heart is on the right side and her stomach, liver and intestines are in her chest. Currently Rylee is on life support for her heart and lungs. Once the heart and lungs are stable, she will have surgery to put her organs in their correct place. The prayers that we are receiving are helping, Rylee is making small but important gains. My son Mark and Samantha are by Rylee's side day and night. Unfortunately they are starting to feel the crunch with some medical bills coming in as well as everyday living expenses including the gas it takes to go to Children's Hospital twice a day. If there is anyway you can help out, I know they would appreciate it and would help relieve a little stress and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please continue to keep the prayers coming.
