I have started this gofundme to see if I can raise any funds for Willow's eye surgery removal.

Last month, I found a female Vizsla (now Willow) who had been dumped on a country road. She had no collar on, was underweight, dirty, and extremely scared. With the help of some kind passerbyers, I managed to get her into my car and to the vets. She was microchipped, but her details were not up to date, and by the condition of her, it was quite clear that she had been used as a breeding dog and had been dumped as she is no longer of use. She was in a general state of neglect and it is clear that despite being used as a breeding dog and making lots of money for her previous owners, she had not been

looked after very well at all (many of her teeth are rotten and will need to be taken out in the near future). However, the main issue with Willow is that she has glaucoma in her left eye, which has left her blind in this eye and is also causing her a lot of pain and discomfort. As her records show no medical history, it is unclear how long she has been suffering from this.

Since I have found Willow I have personally paid for her visits to the vets, medication, vaccinations, consultations etc which has amounted to almost £700. However, the eye removal surgery is quite pricy, especially as nobody will insure Willow due to all her health issues. I have started this gofundme to see if anybody would be happy to make a small contribution towards her surgery (obviously no pressure!).

Despite all these issues, Willow is such a sweet and loving dog. It is unfathomable to me how anybody could mistreat such a kind and beautfiul natured dog. She is extremely calm and gentle and she is so so affectionate. She loves to be made a fuss of and has been stuck to me like velcro since I found her.

Any little helps and we are so grateful for whatever anybody is willing to contribute, whatever the amount. We are just trying to make Willow's life a little better after years of hardship at the hands of unscrupulous breeders who have used and abused her for profit.
