An Abundance of Hope–Dreamline’s Response

"Dreamline offers a simple yet profound way to connect the human family in a time of social distancing."   --Creator of We, the World's Climate Collaboratory

When the pandemic hit, we knew none of our regular programming was going to work. Kids were not in school. The public events we host couldn't happen. And we also knew the need would be greater than ever.  Dreams bring hope and our program builds community.

Dreamline has been inviting kids to share their dreams with the world since 2016.
Classrooms everywhere have gotten involved.

The program builds empathy, compassion and inspiration by taking students through a process of reflection on what really matters to them. They create cloth Dreamline Banners that state their dreams to share with the world. They share them in public events and through our Dreamline World mobile app.

In March and April, we gathered teachers from around the country in focus groups to figure out how to make the best online experience possible that is true to our mission. And we did it.

Your contribution of $2/student supportS:

"Dreamline’s online program gives kids an opportunity to dream big - beyond the frustrations and limitations of our current situation. Having meaningful goals to work towards will energize them and the online Dreamline will help them feel connected to other kids at a time when connections are harder to come by."

--3rd Grade Teacher, Philadelphia, PA

"Now more than ever, the health and security of our planet depends on the realization that our local wellbeing is connected to global actions. Dreamline enables youth to connect online to achieve this realization and to start brainstorming ways to transform the world for the better, using others' creative ideas as inspiration."

--Doctoral Student at Columbia Teachers College

We call it our ABUNDANCE program and motto is "Out of an abundance of dreams, an abundance of HOPE."

It is already working and engaging teachers and students from Dallas to Cairo.

We didn't wait for a grant or green light to do this. We just did it, and now we need your help to keep it going.

$2 covers the hard cost of the program for one student this year and we can scale to thousands.
