El mes pasado, octubre de 2020, nuestra querida Abuelita Tila fue diagnosticada con cáncer de mama a la edad de 87 años. A pesar de todo, nuestra Abuelita ha mantenido una perspectiva sorprendentemente positiva y se ha comprometido a luchar contra esto. Hace dos semanas, nuestra propia Wonder Woman usó sus ahorros para pagar una masectomía que removió los tumores cancerosos. Actualmente necesita 4 sesiones de quimioterapia y por eso pedimos su ayuda.
Mi abuela es un pilar importante en nuestra familia. Ella es una fuente de amor, alegría y bondad pura. De hecho, ha dedicado toda su vida a dar a los demás y ahora espero que nuestra comunidad pueda ayudarla. Por favor considere donar lo que pueda o compartirlo con sus conocidos. Nuestro objetivo es utilizar estos fondos para pagar sus quimioterapias mensuales y cualquier otro gasto médico. Estoy eternamente agradecida a todos/as los que puedan ayudar.

Last month, October 2020, our dear Abuelita Tila was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 87. Despite the devastating news, our Abuelita has kept a surprisingly positive outlook and committed herself to fighting this. Two weeks ago our own Wonder Woman used her life savings to pay for a masectomy and is now in need of 4 sessions of chemotherapy.
My grandma is an important pillar in our family. She's a source of love, joy, and pure goodness. In fact, she has dedicated her entire life to giving to others and now I hope our community can show up for her. Please consider donating anything you can and/or sharing this fund with others. We aim to use these funds to pay for her monthly chemotherapies and any other related medical expenses. We are eternally grateful to all who are able to help.
