Hello, my name is Jessica Contreras and I am raising funds for my grandma Adriana's medical expenses.

She is currently in the hospital battling sepsis since Friday, today she had a small fever and previously she was dehydrated but is not dehydrated anymore. My grandma also suffers from dementia, so she isn't fully aware that she is at the hospital. She can open her eyes, say 2-3 words, and move her hands a bit. Her Medical has been maxed out because the nurses/doctors are not giving her any more medicine/tests until they figure out how we will be paying for her medical expenses.

They believe she suffered a mini-stroke, but cannot confirm as they haven't done an MRI yet- but again they cannot do an MRI until they find out how we will be paying for her medical expenses.

My parents/family are waiting for their meeting with the doctors/insurance tomorrow afternoon (Tues, Nov 7) to see what is the next step.

We will be using the funds to cover her medical expenses. Any donation amount is welcome, and we thank you for helping my grandma and family.

Hola, mi nombre es Jessica Contreras y estoy recaudando fondos para los gastos médicos de mi abuela Adriana.

Actualmente se encuentra en el hospital luchando contra la septicemia desde el viernes, hoy tuvo un poco de fiebre y anteriormente estaba deshidratada pero ya no está deshidratada. Mi abuela también sufre demencia, por lo que no es plenamente consciente de que está en el hospital. Puede abrir los ojos, decir 2 o 3 palabras y mover un poco las manos. Sus gastos médicos han llegado al máximo porque las enfermeras/médicos no le están dando más medicamentos/pruebas hasta que averigüen cómo pagaremos sus gastos médicos.

Creen que sufrió un mini derrame cerebral, pero no pueden confirmarlo porque aún no le han hecho una resonancia magnética (MRI), pero nuevamente no pueden hacerla hasta que averigüen cómo pagaremos sus gastos médicos.

Mis padres/familia están esperando su reunión con los médicos/seguro mañana por la tarde (martes 7 de noviembre) para ver cuál es el siguiente paso.

Usaremos los fondos para cubrir sus gastos médicos. Cualquier cantidad donación es bienvenido y le agradecemos por ayudar a mi abuela y a mi familia.
