Help Abu Musaed give hope to others. Help us raise $70,000 CAD to feed, clothe, house, and revive the joy within Gazans.
Before the current war in Gaza, residents of Gaza found themselves dealing with scores of traumatized, injured and maimed youth left behind by the previous wars (2008-2009, 2012, 2014, 2019, 2021). Abu Musaed and his team, true to the resilient Gazan nature, sought to become a ray of hope for these youth.

He dreamed of creating opportunities and hope through a unique approach of introducing historical sport activities that had captivated their imagination and passion. They embarked on a mission to establish the first team in Gaza for mounted archery - along with equestrianism and regular archery.

An ambitious goal given their context - but one that he would pursue relentlessly and achieve great strides in . He travelled to seek out the skills required and bring them back to the youth of Gaza.

His lack of resources and access, would be substituted by ingenuity that allowed him to manufacture his own equipment (bows, arrows, quivers, targets, and riding related gear). He refused to allow sparsity or scarcity to stand in the way of the people of Gaza's God given right to normality and a hope of a better future.
It is no secret that these activities, in addition to providing opportunities carry powerful therapeutic elements - much needed for a blockaded community that has undergone numerous wars in a devastatingly short time. For the youth he served - and those maimed by war, loosing these arrows would allow their souls to take flight and sore high above their helplessness. Whilst interacting with horses, these majestic beasts who symbolize freedom, would also have a tremendous impact on such a deprived people.

We don't have to explain how difficult providing such an important, yet locally rare and unique opportunity is - especially by those who themselves have so little. Yet they were able to achieve the impossible and were beginning to realize their dreams. However, the dream would be short lived and this war with the destruction that accompanied it would not only put a halt to all their activities, but to all their hopes and their dream itself.

Abu Musaed's team lost a lot of their equipment and most of their horses. Members of his team lost their homes, their livelihoods, and some even their children and loved ones. One of the hardest things to experience is to see hope snatched away from those working so hard to provide it to others.
We appeal to you to not let this be the case and help heal Abu Musaeds team and aid them to rebuild their lives, their homes and the beacon of hope that they provided for their much deserving community.

The donation funds for Abu Musaed are being raised and collected by Abu Khalid Gora from Calgary, Alberta, Canada who came to know Abu Musead - and of his and his team's plight, through his YouTube channel which was introduced to him through a mutual friend.
Every dollar collected will be sent by Abu Khalid to Rashid Hamad Alfarsi of the UAE. Rashid has businesses and business operations in the besieged Gaza Strip and a means to get direct aid to Abu Musead.
Abu Musead lives in The Deir al-Balah Governorate, also referred to as Central Gaza Governorate. It is one of 16 Governorates of Palestine in the central Gaza Strip which is administered by Palestine aside from its border with Israel, airspace, and maritime territory.
The immediate goals for the funds collected is to provide urgently needed food, water, clothing and other basic humanitarian goods to Abu Musead and those he cares for.
The long term aim is to help rebuild their homes and their lives. It is to give hope to the exponentially larger next generation of Gazans who have been permanently scarred, wounded and traumatized by war.
